It’s a painful memory that Evelyn Lozada lives with everyday, but now she’s hoping her story will help other domestic violence survivors.
Recently, the NFL caught some flack for celebrating Kansas City Chiefs player Tyrek Hill on the header of their Twitter page. It is well-documented that Hill pled guilty to choking and hitting his pregnant girlfriend in 2014 … hence, the social media firestorm. While guest co-hosting on The Real and discussing this with the ladies, Evelyn was forced to relive her own domestic violence incident with former NFL husband, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. In an emotional moment, Lozada begged her social media fans not to tweet “get over it” since her encounter happened four years ago.
