The 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea are still a year off, but we are already obsessed with the these three women. Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga hope to be the first women from Africa to ever compete in the Bobsled competition at the winter games.
Adigun, who competed for Nigeria in the 2012 Olympics in London, is the team’s driver and the driving force behind the effort for the ladies to make history. They are currently trying to raise money with a GoFundMe page in hopes of covering the costs of a sled, training and uniforms. CBS This Morning profiled the team and their sledding dreams.
