Listen up! Angie Stone has a story to tell.
The soul singer wants to share her life in a way that she can’t do through just her music. While at the Soul Train Awards, Angie told HipHollywood that her biopic is on the way. But it’s not just the Stone story; she’s also looking to shed some light on her time spent in the girl group The Sequence, which she believes gets “overlooked” as the first group to fuse rap and singing. “There’s a lot that happened that the world needs to know about,” Angie revealed.
Oh, and if you’re thinking this will just be one movie, then think again. “You know me, I gotta do a miniseries. My stuff is long,” Stone stated.
