Bill Cosby’s classic family comedy will be coming back to a TV near you, thanks to Bounce TV. The cable station announced that, after an overwhelming response from viewers, it would be bringing the show back starting Dec. 19th.
“You asked, and we heard you loud and clear, Bouncers,” Bounce TV announced Friday on Twitter. “We’re bringing #TheCosbyShow back by popular demand. Tune in December 19th. #TVOurWay.”
After Cosby was accused of raping nearly 50 women, networks stopped airing the once-beloved NBC sitcom. Following Bounce’s announcement the response on social media was pretty positive.
Cosby, 79, is currently awaiting a trial in Pennsylvania, after he was charged with three separate counts of sexual assault that each carry a minimum jail sentence of 10 years.
