Kanye West is back to touring and appears to be in great spirits.
Over the weekend, the rapper performed two back-to-back shows in his hometown of Chicago. Friday was the rapper’s first show back since his wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery, and on Saturday, Ye opened up about one simple word: victory.
“I can safely say that tonight is a victory,” he said. West later added, “If your dreams keep you up a night and your ideas keep you up at night then your vision will come alive.”
It was just one week ago that Kanye suddenly left a performance in New York to tend to his famous wife, who had been gagged, bound and robbed of nearly $10 million while inside her Paris apartment.
Following the robbery, which left Kardashian incredibly upset and scarred, Yeezy took a short break from his Saint Pablo tour. “Due to family concerns, this week’s Philadelphia and Detroit dates on the Saint Pablo tour have been rescheduled,” Ye’s rep said in a statement.
The two shows have been rescheduled for December 13 and December 22.
As Kanye continues his Saint Pablo trek, Kim is back in Los Angeles with her family, reportedly planning on how to beef up her security. The reality star has been silent on social media since the terrifying incident.
