We’re sure Jazmine Sullivan’s heart was in the right place when she tried to pay her respects to a man she cordially knew. Unfortunately, her memorial message shared on Facebook was riddled with all kinds of shade as she recounted the man’s futile attempt to court her.
“What I do know is I gave him my number accientally through a friend and he reached out consistently for a year. I think I replied maybe three times but that never stopped him from writing me,” she recounts at the beginning of her story. “I remember him bringing me flowers to a show I had in San Francisco and me realizing this was not the TC I thought it was … but that he was sweet.”
The message, which has now been deleted, has folks on Twitter wondering what in the hell Jazmine was thinking. It’s one thing to offer your condolences on social media, it’s another to use the platform to humblebrag in the process.
Jazmine Sullivan wanted to make sure he knew, just in case he was reading from Heaven, that she dont like him like that.

Jazmine Sullivan basically said, “idk you, I just know that you liked me and I used to curve you. Rip, I still don’t want you though.”
