Kanye West is already one heck of a self-absorbed, self-proclaimed genius and god, and now, the rapper has one more thing to brag about.
On Monday morning, Billboard reported that Yeezy has officially beat out Michael Jackson for top hits. According to the news outlet, the rapper has more top 40 hits than The King of Pop, all thanks to his record with ScHoolboy Q.
The duo’s popular track, “That Part,” became the Chicago native’s “40th top 40 hit on the Hot 100, passing Michael Jackson and Frankie Valli (39 each) for the tenth most top 40 hits by a male artist of all time.”
Congrats to Yeezy. We, however, can’t have this moment without reminding you that without the rapper’s sex drive, he might not have reached this point. Remember this famous quote?
“People ask me a lot about my drive. I think it comes from, like, having a sexual addiction at a really young age. Look at the drive that people have to get sex — to dress like this and get a haircut and be in the club in the freezing cold at 3 A.M., the places they go to pick up a girl. If you can focus the energy into something valuable, put that into work ethic.”
