Charlize Theron Talks Castile, Sterling Deaths & Fearing For Her Two Black Kids
Charlize Theron is latest celebrity speaking out about the recent deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling at the hands of the police. But for Theron, it’s more than a hashtag, if you didn’t know, the Oscar winning actress is the adopted mother of two African American children, one boy and one girl, and she admits she’s afraid for them.
“I want to be proactive in some way and its not enough to sit and complain,” said Theron emotionally. “It’s really frightening when you have little kids, I have two African American kids, and the world has to get rid of it’s racism, and we have to turn the page, it’s been a long long time, we have to turn the page.”
