A Philadelphia nurse is now unemployed after posting a hateful message on Facebook bashing Black people for standing up for themselves. Diane Amoratis posted the message after witnessing what she says was a “fat, braided hair, piece of sh*t troublemaker” berating a police officer during a Black Lives Matter rally.
What follows is a screengrab of the woman’s disgusting message:
Amoratis worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital until her note went viral. The hospital responded by publishing a statement on their own Facebook page, and later, confirming in a separate statement that the hateful woman is no longer employed.
“Hate speech of any kind is unacceptable at Jefferson and is not consistent with our values, policies and the culture of inclusiveness, dignity and respect we continue to build here,” read a statement posted on Jefferson’s Facebook page by President and CEO Stephen Klasko and Chief Human Resources Officer Jeffrey Stevens. “We pride ourselves on ensuring that Jefferson is a safe community where our colleagues, patients and students respect and value each other.”
Amoratis, like most cyber thugs and trolls, deleted her Facebook account once her racist rant went viral.
