While hundreds of people have taken to the streets of Baton Rouge to protest following the shooting death of 37-year-old Alton Sterling, others have taken to social media to express their pain and outrage.

Sterling was gunned down and killed at the hands of law enforcement on Tuesday morning while selling CDs outside a Baton Rouge convenience store.

According to law enforcement, officers arrived to the scene after receiving an anonymous call suggesting Alton threatened someone with a gun. Alton was tackled and pinned to the ground before being senselessly shot and killed at point blank range.

Of the many posting on Twitter, a laundry list of celebrities shared their thoughts, including, Jesse Williams, Zendaya and Nick Cannon.
