Ayesha Curry regrets the moment she tweeted that the NBA finals was rigged.
It was one of the more entertaining parts of the NBA finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. After Ayesha’s husband, Steph Curry, got ejected from Game 6 of the series, the mother of two suggested that the NBA was “rigged for money” and “ratings.”
Truth? We all thought the same thing but didn’t have the guts to say it via Twitter.
The beauty, who later tweeted that her comment was in the heat of the moment, recently reveled to PEOPLE that she “didn’t think about the ramifications.”
“I was just a fan in that moment so I didn’t think about the ramifications,” Curry said. “I regret the way that I voiced how hurt I was. I felt hurt for [Steph], and I didn’t mean to offend anybody. Obviously, what I wrote is not what I think about what he does for a living.”
And while the incident is behind the NBA wife, Curry is shifting her focus to something more pressing: A new television show.
According to Variety, Curry will host a six-episode series which will be filmed at California her home. The show, titled “Ayesha’s Homemade,” will blend “cooking segments with glimpses of her life as the wife of an NBA star and mother to two young daughters. The half-hour series from High Noon Entertainment is targeting a fall debut.”
Now that’s something to look forward to.
