It’s been almost two months since we lost the Purple One, but we could be hearing new music from him very soon!
As the ones appointed to handle Prince’s entertainment assets, Charles Koppelman (who signed Prince when he was head of EMI) and L. Londell McMillan (Prince’s longtime lawyer and manager) have decided to dive into the vaults of music Prince never released. “We’re going to be having a good time,” Koppelman stated to PageSix. “There is so much to be done with this estate. There are vaults full of music.”
Koppelman and McMillan also believe there could be a Broadway musical featuring Prince’s hits or a Cirque du Soleil show. “Prince was an icon on the level of The Beatles and Michael Jackson, and his legacy should be honored,” Koppelman said. “Though his name was Prince, I always thought he was the king of music.”
