Congratulations Internet bullies, you did it. You finally got Iggy Azalea to go back to where she came from.
OK, so it wasn’t the doing of IG thugs, but Iggy Igs is going back to her native land of Australia. Why, you ask? The Hip-Pop star is set to judge The X Factor Australia.
According to News.com.au, Azalea was initially hesitant about taking the gig. “I really didn’t picture myself being a judge on any kind of television show but I think that actually this could be a good fit for me so I said yes,” the “Fancy” rapper stated. “I thought it would be good to come back to Australia and have an opportunity to spend some time there and obviously to see my family, who live in Sydney. So I think it will be a good situation for multiple reasons. I’m really excited and I don’t really know what to expect.”
No word on when season eight of The X Factor Australia will premiere but it’s said to be slated after the Olympics. Iggy is also hard at work on her upcoming album Digital Distortion which should drop later this year.
