Exclusive: Yvette Nicole Brown Calls Tamar Braxton’s Departure From ‘The Real’ “Sad”

It was confirmed over the weekend that Tamar Braxton will be part ways with daytime talkshow, The Real. The program released a statement on Sunday that read:

“The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career.”

The statement continued, “Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

Just hours after The Real confirmed Tamar’s departure, HipHollywood caught up with Yvette Nicole Brown who expressed her disappointment that Braxton is leaving the show. “That’s sad to me because I think Tamar added a lot of flavor to the table,” Brown, who guest co-hosted the show on several occasions told us exclusively while at Johnny Gill’s 50th birthday party.

She added, “But she’s Tamar, she is gonna go on and just be fabulous wherever she goes. She might be on set right now working on her next project.”

News of Braxton’s exit from the show first hit the Web after she shared a cryptic message on Instagram about being betrayed.

“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (not my man or my sisters) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it’s not in good taste to tell you who,” she wrote. “But as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own. But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light. Thank GOD HE HOLDS MY FUTURE AND MY HAND!”

Instantly, it was rumored that Braxton had a falling out with one of her cohosts. But for Brown, she isn’t believing the hype. “There’s love at that table. All these rumors, it’s just not true. I’ve been there. I’ve seen how they feel about each other,” she told us.

Braxton hosted the show with Tamera Mowry Housley, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Loni Love.
