Harriet Tubman isn’t the only person of color set to appear on U.S. currency in the coming decade. HipHollywood has learned that at least three other historic African-American leaders will have their faces printed on various dollar denominations.
Sojourner Truth will appear on the back of the $10 bill.
Marian Anderson and Martin Luther King Jr. will appear on the back of the $5 bill. They join Eleanor Roosevelt, Alice Paul, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott and Susan B. Anthony who will also be appearing on our money by 2030.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Harriet Tubman would be appearing on the $20.
