It seems like the world wants Mariah Carey and her ex-husband, Nick Cannon to be at odds. But Cannon is fed up with the constant speculation and rumors, mainly because he and the soon to be bride are actually on good terms.

Last week, Nick released a track that many thought was a diss record towards the mother of his two children. “Baby girl, don’t cry / I won’t lie / Our relationship was a lie,” Cannon rapped on the song. “But, baby, some die / I guess we parted, that’s all / Oh well.”

But on Monday morning, the rapper not only took to Twitter to slam reports that the record was in efforts to blast his ex, but to express how “we got to learn how to navigate through the sensationalism and lies.”
