Kanye West revealed his Yeezy Season 3 clothing line in conjunction with the debut of his new album, The Life of Pablo, on Thursday in New York.
Fans flooded NY’s Madison Square Garden to cheer on West and his latest accolades. But on the other side of the doors, folks were ripping the artist to shreds over a few of the rapper’s lyrics, specifically, one about Taylor Swift.
“For all my Southside n*ggas who know me best, I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that b*tch famous. God damn. I made that b*tch famous,” he raps in a new song titled “Famous”.
Instantly, people shamed the 38-year-old for speaking ill about Swift, who you might remember, had her spotlight stolen from the rapper back in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Music Awards.
Following some of the backlash, Ye went on a lengthy rant via Twitter, naming off nine reasons why calling Swift was ok. Also, why naming his wife a “b*tch” in the same song was too acceptable.
