Bill Romanowski came under fire on Sunday after using a perceived offensive term while talking about Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton.

During the Super Bowl, the former NFL player, who mind you has been accused of being racist, tweeted an unkind remark about Newton and ended the post with the word, “boy.”

“You will never last in the NFL with that attitude. The world doesn’t revolve around you, boy! #CamNewton.”

Immediately, the former Broncos player was attacked for using such “racist” jargon. But after being seriously berated and dragged on social media, the 49-year-old posted an apology on Twitter.

“Calm down everyone! I meant he needs to grow up!,” he tweeted. Later added, “I apologize for that remark ‘boy’. It was not intentional or even trying to disrespect others. Peace everyone.”

And while Romanowski claims he was not trying to “disrespect others,” the former baller is no stranger to being a total schmuck.

During Bill’s stint in the NFL, he was ejected from a game for kicking Arizona Cardinals fullback Larry Centers in the head, he was fined for spatting in the face of 49ers wide receiver J.J Stokes and was apparently forced to retire after crushing the eye socket of Oakland Raiders backup tight end, Marcus Williams.
