Former Redskins defensive player Dexter Manley is in hot water for making a racially insensitive remark about Black quarterbacks in the NFL. Manley, who is a commentator on WUSA9’s Game On, was speaking about QB mobility when he made this shocking statement on live television, “most of the Black quarterbacks, they like running, because they’re probably used to running from the law.”

Manley issued an on-air apology after making the remarks, admitting, “I say some things I don’t think about sometimes.” That apology was too little too late for Black Twitter who lit Manley up for his brand of ignorance.

Rapper Bun B also got in on the admonishing, saying if Manley was White, the Black community would be up and arms over the comments.
