Other award shows may not celebrate diversity, but that’s definitely not the case at the Screen Actors Guild awards! During the Saturday night live telecast on TNT and TBS, actors and actresses of all shades were celebrate and in the diverse pool of nominees, Black people walked away with several deserving awards.

Orange Is The New Black‘s Uzo Aduba won The Actor for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series” and her whole cast won as well for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series”.

Queen Latifah was honored for her role in Bessie and the chocolate adonis himself, Idris Elba, walked away with TWO awards; one for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role” in Beasts of No Nation and one for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries” in Luther.

And another round applause for THEE Viola Davis. The stellar actress walked away with another SAG Award for her role as Annalise Keating on How To Get Away With Murder.
