Come on, X! By now, you have to know better.
DMX was schedule to appear in Westchester Count Supreme Court on December 14th for a child support hearing. But instead of showing up, he was in Las Vegas performing “DMXmas” at the Foxtail Nightclub. The New York Supreme Court judge issued a warrant for the rapper’s arrest.
X’s lawyer told the Judge Paul Marx that he thought the court date was December 15th, not the 14th. The judge replied, “It’s going to be really hard to perform at the Westchester County Jail,” the judge said. DMX “sat here at the table and said, ‘If you let me go, I’m coming back.’ Well, he ain’t here. It’ll be interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant.”
In October the judge had DMX hauled back into court, but the rapper claimed he needed to go out on the road to make money. He promised he would return for his next court appearance … but, as we can now see, he broke that promise.
At this point it’s only a matter of time before X is behind bars … again.
