Surprise, surprise. Diddy says rumors he’s put hands on Drake outside a Miami nightclub back in December 2014 are bogus. The media mogul was asked about the slap heard around the world during a radio interview with Revolt’s, The Breakfast Club.
“I did not put hands on Drake, and I do not want any problems with Drake. Drake, is … right now … that’s all I have to say. He putting in his work. I ain’t do nothing to Drake. Drake is my friend,” Diddy joked, alluding to the Canadian emcee’s recent skewering of Meek Mill.
The Bad Boy CEO did admit that there was a dispute of sorts over Drake’s hit record, “0 to a 100,” but is adamant it’s all love between the men now. “[It] was initially a record that was my record that somehow … you know a misunderstanding … we was working with the same producer,” he said, explaining how Drake ended up dropping the record with the beat before he did. “It wasn’t anything that was really that big a deal.”
“Honestly, Drake is my favorite rapper,” Diddy continued.
Puff also discussed his feud with J. Cole, and his alleged assault of a UCLA coach. Check out the full interview below.
