Dallas Cowboys player Orlando Scandrick is officially back on the market.
It’s been confirmed that the NFL star broke off his engagement to reality star, Draya Michele. On Monday night, Scandrick posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption:
“I don’t want no relations.”
Scandrick went on to tell TMZ that the entire engagement was a mistake. “I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya. In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose.” He added, “I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally.”
As previously reported, Scandrick proposed to the Basketball Wives star last month. The two dated for over two years, but took a break two months ago due to “living very hectic lives” according to Draya.
“Yesterday, the love of my life asked me to be his wife,” Draya wrote on Instagram after the big proposal. “I said YES !!! Love you forever starts now.”
The former couple may have been planning to walk down the aisle, but it is no secret that the two had rocky relationship. On several occasions, Draya opened up on social media about their problems, including breakups; something Basketball Wives and Marriage Bootcamp star, Tami Roman does not agree with. “I don’t put my relationship in terms of whether we are together or not on social media,” she told HipHollywood exclusively.
“I’m a very private, private person. In fact this is the first relationship that I actually exposed to the world. People don’t know I was in a five year relationship when I was still on Basketball Wives,” Roman explained. “I was very secretive. I don’t necessarily agree with that, but everybody does things differently.”
