NeNe Leakes will be making her way back to primetime television.
The former Glee star confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday that she will be starring alongside Betty White in an upcoming ABC series called To Tell The Truth. The beauty, who starts filming today, will also be sharing the smalls screen with black-ish star, Anthony Anderson.
“When one door closes, another door opens,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star tweeted.
To Tell The Truth, which will be hosted by Anderson, was a game show back in the 1950’s, 60’s.
In what is being called a Comedic Variety Show and revival of the hit comedy game show, three people will claim to be the same person, one with a special job, talent, or achievement. A panel of celebrities, including White, who was the original show, and Leakes, will ask questions to figure out who is telling the truth.
Leakes announced earlier this week that after seven years, she would not be returning to Bravo’s RHOA.
In a statement to People, the beauty said that it was “definitely a hard decision for me. Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things.”
Leakes is also set to star in in Bravo spinoff series with her bestie, Kim Zolciak-Biermann.
Congratulations to the star.
