Who doesn’t love wealthy, professional Black women fighting on television? It’s exactly what we call a guilty pleasure.
Season 3 of Married to Medicine premiered on Sunday evening and just like previous seasons, the show prescribes a large dose of drama. After all, we are talking about a group of successful, intelligent, beautiful doctors and wives of doctors, why would they get along?
One main story line fans will see this season is the feud between Quad Webb-Lunceford and Lisa Nicole Cloud, who both take out background checks on each other before possibly getting into business together. “It’s a classic example of a person who is desperate and starving for more camera time,” Quad told HipHollywood about Lisa who was the first to do a background check.
Quad continued, “To say she did a background investigation on me because we are going to do business together, it’s reaching … I’ve read in some of the interviews that she’s done that she was going to go into business with me. I’m like ‘really that’s interesting because my business partner is a billionaire and the checks always clear. You’re struggling to pay Uncle Same so I probably wouldn’t ask for you to invest with me.'”
The entrepreneur and owner of Picture Perfect Pup added, “I did in turn do a background investigation on her but I want to assure you it was not to hurt her or her family, it was more like mirroring her behavior.”
According to the beauty this season will be “riveting. I’m telling you you’ll be on the edge of your seats. Quite captivating and full of scandal.”
Be sure to check out the ladies every Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
