UCLA fourth string defensive back Justin Combs is speaking out in his father’s defense after his pops, formerly known as Puff Daddy, allegedly attacked a university coach and interns with a kettle bell.
Diddy was arrested on Monday afternoon following the incident, and released later that night. Justin had been mum on the chaotic event, but spoke publicly on Tuesday afternoon after posting this message on Instagram.
TMZ Sports claims that Diddy became enraged after conditioning coach Sal Alosi called out Justin during practice, saying, “I don’t care if your dad’s here. I’m going to treat you just like I treat everyone else.” Alosi then told the athlete not to return for rest of the summer, which sent Diddy over the edge.
The rapper has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.
