Ne-Yo, Rita Ora, Tommy Hilfiger and dozens of other Hollywood power players came together on Friday night for survivor and advocate Nancy Davis’ 22nd annual Race to Erase MS fundraising event in Los Angeles.
“[Race to Erase MS] They mean what they say, they say what they mean and they are really trying to help and that’s what I’m all about,” Ne-Yo told HipHollywood while on the red carpet.
The singer/songwriter and Rita delivered entertainment for the evening, while Hilfiger became the recipient of the Medal of Hope Award. “We are working hard to find a cure for everyone who’s suffering from the disease,” he told us. “The reason I’m being honored is because I have the ability to reach out to different people and raise funds as a result of it.”
By the end of the night, the Race to Erase MS and its Center Without Walls program raised over $1.7 million.
