Kim Porter and Diddy are two very happy parents.
It was a family affair on Monday night at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles where Porter and Diddy joined their son Quincy Brown for the premiere of his new film, Brotherly Love.
In the drama, Quincy plays a smooth high school student who captures the heart of his co-star, Keke Palmer. And according to Quincy’s model mother, his character isn’t a far departure from his personal life. “Well his [biological] father is Al B. Sure! he was smooth. I’m his mother, extra smooth. And puff is his dad, so he gets it honestly,” Kim, who has three children with Diddy said.
She added, “I love Quincy because he is humble, he has a great heart, and he is really focused and driven and all of his hard work is paying off.”
During the premiere, HipHollywood also caught up with Empire star, Bryshere Gray who came out to support the film which takes place in his hometown of Philadelphia.
The 21-year-old opened up to us about the struggle of growing up in West Philly. “Just like any other type of small hood it’s hard,” he said. “But it’s about coming out of it, maturing and growing. You don’t want to stay at one spot in life, you want to keep growing.
Brotherly Love hits theaters on April 24.
