Super Fan Katy Perry Donates 5K To TLC Kickstarter
Katy Perry is one of several fans helping TLC raise the funds necessary to deliver an epic, last and final album.
A source tells TMZ that Perry donated 5k to TLC’s kickstarter campaign to raise money for their forthcoming album. The group’s goal is to raise 150k and they have already received a whopping $106,061. The ladies have until February 19 to reach their goal.
“We wouldn’t dream of making our final album with anyone BUT our fans. Come on y’all, BE A PART OF TLC HISTORY,” the description on Kickstarter reads.
It was announced on Tuesday that TLC will be kicking off a summer tour in May alongside New Kids On The Block and Nelly. NKOTB, being the sweet gentleman they are, also donated, pitching in a cool 10k.
