After just two episodes, FOX has made the decision to renew Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard’s, Empire.
The program, which premiered earlier this month, has proven to be a huge success. According to reports, the hip hop drama has averaged a 5.3 in the demo and 11.7 million viewers.
The show is based around Terrence’s character, Lucious Lyon, the head of a music empire who is trying to figure out of his three son’s, who would is most fit to take over the company. “The show is crazy,” Howard told HipHollywood during the show’s Los Angeles premiere. “We get rid of any political correctness. No PC. It’s all BS. We want to tell the truth, whether its good or bad.”
Empire airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.
