Word to the wise … don’t call Raven-Symone gay or Black.
The former Cosby kid sat down with Oprah for her Where Are They Now? series and Raven opened up about her “amazing relationship” with a women, but quickly told Lady O she doesn’t like to be labeled gay. “I don’t need language, I don’t need a categorizing statement for it. I don’t want to be labeled ‘gay’. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.”
Oh, and while we’re talking labels, the That’s So Raven actress also stated she doesn’t like the “African-American” label either. “I’m not an African-American. I’m an American,” Raven told Oprah.
