Just two weeks after breaking off her engagement to Michael Strahan, Nicole Murphy was spotted grabbing lunch with the former NFL star.
On Thursday afternoon, Murphy and Strahan dined at the South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills and the two appeared to be in great spirits. The reality star and GMA host walked into the eatery arm in arm which immediately sparked speculation that the duo might be getting back together. But a source tells E! News that a reconciliation is not the case.
“They had lunch. They are on friendly terms. No big deal,” the insider explained.
HipHollywood caught up with Murphy last week and when asked about the breakup, Nicole simply responded, “Me and Michael are good, we’re cool. That’s all that matters.” As for the ongoing rumors surrounding the breakup, Murphy quipped, “You know what? I’m cool, I ain’t got nothin’ to say about that.”
Murphy and Strahan dated for 5 years before officially calling it quits. “They have been on and off for two years,” in insider revealed to E!. “There have been a lot of ups and downs and back and forth. Sometimes they were together, sometimes they were not. They were both aware all along of their relationship status. No one did anything wrong. They were both aware of their situation and it was a complicated relationship. There are no big surprises between them.”
