Celebrity wedding planner, David Tutera has planned dozens of elaborate weddings and events for some of Hollywood’s heavy hitters; including the nuptials for Chris Paul, Star Jones and NY Giants Antonio Pierce to name a few.
And as wedding season approaches, there is one wedding on everyone’s radar: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Memorial Day weekend nuptials. While it’s unclear what the details for the ceremony might be, we do know that the entire Kardashian/West clan are spending the days leading up to the ceremony in Paris.
While on the red carpet for the Season 3 premiere party of LA Hair, HipHollywood caught up with Tutera to get his thoughts on the couple’s forthcoming ceremony.
“The reality is I hope it’s kept private, I hope it’s kept small,” host of WE’s David Tutera’s CELEBrations explained. “I can’t promise that either of those two things are going to be met.”
He continued, “I’m very vocal about the Kardashians. I live a life quite differently than they do and I don’t believe they do the things I would want them to do. If I were hired to do their wedding, I would not do what they’ve done, nor what I continue to do what they’re doing.”
David also suggested that based on some of the small details he does know, Kim and Kanye’s wedding could cost nearly $5 million dollars.
According to reports, Kimye will wed at the Forte di Belvedere in Florance, Italy, a venue which reportedly cost more than $400,000 to rent.
