Did Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Wedding Plans Hit A Major Snag?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s lavish Parisian wedding might have just hit a huge snag.

The couple, who was reportedly set to wed on May 24th, might not be saying “I do” by the time their wedding date comes around because according to Radar Online, the couple didn’t know that French law “requires a 40-day residency prior to any wedding.”

“Kim and Kanye were unaware until recently that France required a residency requirement prior to the marriage. Kanye has an apartment in Paris, but he doesn’t live there full-time,” the insider revealed to the news outlet.

After doing some digging, HipHollywood can confirm that in order to be legally wed in France, one of the parties needs to have lived in France, preferably in the district around the city, for a minimum of 40 consecutive days. We also learned that many people might legally get married in America and then jet to Paris for a special ceremony.

Last week, news surfaced the Kanye was going to be postponing his Australian tour which was initially set to kick off several weeks before the wedding. Radar Online suggesting maybe the tour change has something to do with the couple’s big wedding setback?

During a recent interview with late night talkshow host, Seth Meyers, the mom of 9-month old North West explained that the “Black Skinhead” rapper is very hands on when it comes to planning the wedding.

“He’s super creative. I’m so excited that he is really involved in just making sure that it all looks amazing. He is just so the type of guy where he is kind of like the strength in our relationship. When I’m stressed out, he wants to just alleviate that stress. So even if it’s something that he’s not really in to, he will figure it out just to help  me not be so stressed out,” she told the host.

Well it this isn’t stressful, we don’t know what is. So we are pretty sure Kanye is doing everything he can for their Parisian wedding to go off without a hitch.
