Snoop Dogg and Oprah have ended their 7 year feud, and let the world know via social media this past weekend. Snoop posted a photo on his Instagram with the caption: Black History
While Oprah posted a similar photo of the two throwing up peace signs on her Instagram account with the caption: Our first meeting. Say WHAAAT??!! #Oscarparty
Snoop and Oprah’s beef reportedly began back in 2007 after the talk show queen criticized rap music for its misogynistic undertones, and, among other rappers, named Snoop as an offender. Snoop clapped back saying, “I don’t like her no more. I really was offended, because I kind of like her. Liked her.”
He also defended himself saying, “I’m very articulate, very intellectual. She didn’t even get a chance to even know me.”
But it looks like all of that has changed. The pair kissed and made up at a pre-Oscar party on Friday in Los Angeles also attended by Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, Matt Damon and Serena Williams.
