Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently landed on the cover of Vogue magazine and showed off their undying love for each other. In fact, the two appear to be majorly in love and on cloud nine. But according to a few sources, there is a bit of jealousy brewing between the hot couple.
A source tells Radar Online that Kim is jealous of Kanye’s relationship with his new artist and protege, Pia Mia. The insider revealed that the rapper and Pia are getting very close and that West actually thinks that 17-year-old can help keep him “relevant.”
“Kanye thinks she’s young, fresh and hip … Totally his target audience,” the source explained. “He’s been consulting her on a lot of his creative projects, including the Kanye x APC collection.”
The source added, “Kanye’s creative team was pretty shocked that he would use a teenager as his confidante. And Kim was actually kind of agitated by it, because he doesn’t usually want her input on design stuff. She was a little jealous.”
West is currently working on new music with Pia.
Pia Mia Perez, the singer’s legal name, is actually friends with Kim’s younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. “Kanye sometimes brings Kendall and Kylie along when he hangs out with Pia so he can pick all their brains,” the insider said. “He wants to tap into the voice of the hip generation, but it’s definitely a little weird.”
Kanye is always trying to stay relevant, so why not use a young, cool artist to do so. And while we are pretty sure Kim wants to be involved in Kanye’s day to day decisions, something tells us she isn’t looking at the 17-year-old as a threat.
