Last week, HipHollywood reported that Floyd Mayweather did not bet $10 million on the Broncos beating the Seahawks in Sunday night’s Super Bowl. Still, after the Broncos were annihilated during the game, social media exploded with the Mayweather rumor again, with many uneducated people laughing at the boxer’s alleged misfortune.
This forced the boxing great to take to Instagram with a response to the allegations for those who missed his camp’s response to the same rumor last week:
“Somebody lied to you all. If I was going to bet, I would have bet on the Seattle Seahawks. I’m the best defensive fighter, it’s only right to go with the best defensive team,” Floyd captioned an image congratulating the winners.
And there ya go! When Floyd does bet, he bets large and makes no qualms about making that wager public knowledge before the sporting event.
