Lincoln Motor Company is launching a new vehicle and songbird Emeli Sande is helping them out!
As guests to the exclusive Lincoln MKC Lux Luncheon, HipHollywood got the chance to meet Emeli and follow her on her “Lincoln Journey”. Sandé is among a select few featured in The Lincoln Motor Company’s “Journey” campaign, a program that explores inspiration, entrepreneurship and people who have followed their dreams. During the lunch she spoke about her music, excitement for the Grammy’s and her love for the piano. She also sat down with Lincoln to discuss her journey to fame.
“Fame for me is still a very alien concept. Half the time, I think I separate Adele, my real name, from Emeli. So when I’m on stage and when I’m performing, I love embracing the attention because I feel I have something to say and the attention isn’t on me, it’s on what I am saying. But when I’m just on the street, it still is quite unusual for me and takes me by surprise when someone recognizes me,” Emeli revealed.
Also during the lunch we got a sneak preview of the new Lincoln MKC, the brands sexy, yet small premium utility segment.
The car was featured on the carpet during the 2014 Essence Women In Music event where Emeli performed Wednesday night. Check back with HipHollywood for our coverage on the event.
