Vin Diesel took to Facebook on Sunday night to share with fans when they can expect the next installment of the Fast and Furious.
The actor posted the message on the social media website with a photo of himself filming with his late co-star Paul Walker. “The last scene we filmed together,” Diesel wrote. “There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared … in the film we were now completing … the magic captured … and, in just how far we’ve come.”
“Fast and Furious 7 will be released … April 10th 2015,” he wrote. Adding, “P.s. He’d want you to know first.”
The Fast 7 crew was on a Thanksgiving break when Walker died in a tragic car crash that killed himself and friend, Roger Rodas. The studio put production on hold following the actor’s death until further notice.
The movie was expected to release in July 2014.
