DMX isn’t letting his legal woes get in the way of making new music.
In a video posted online, the rapper can be seen recording a gospel song called “Never Give Up.” The video, which was filmed on Thanksgiving eve, was taped at producer Dame Grease’s Attic Studio in Greenville, SC.
In the short clip, the 42-year-old raps “God told me/Not to eva eva give up,” while getting ultra, ultra hype. And it looks like the “Ruff Ryder’s Anthem” rapper is even enjoying a nice little smoke during the recording session.
In November, X was arrested for driving with a suspended license and having no car tag or insurance. And back in August, the rapper was taken into custody for marijuana possession in Greer, South Carolina.
According to DMX’s rep, the troubled star is focusing on making new hits and organizing a world tour.
