Shade or Nah? Solange Calls Ariana Grande A Mariah Imitator
Did Solange just come for Ariana Grande? Well, if you let twitter tell it, that’s a yes!
Innocently enough, it all started when Solo posted a song on the social networking site. Her follower @Grimezsz complimented her vocals by comparing her to Mariah Carey and Knowles responded saying, “No one is better at this than Ariana Grande tho. So ima just chill, lol. Happy Sunday!” Well, that’s when the ish hit the fan. The Twitterverse went in, saying the “True” singer was throwing shade.
In an effort to explain her statement, Solange posted the following mini-rant.

If you don’t already know – people refer to you as “The Basement Baby” The child that should have been locked in the basement and kept quiet.

In what way was this bashing Ariana? Seems to me like she was complimenting her.Mariah can saaaaang! Any comparison to her as far as vocals go seems like a good one.
