Kim Kardashian posted a stunning photo on Instagram of herself channeling the late, Elizabeth Taylor.
In the image snapped on Monday night, the reality TV sports a bath towel around her head as she flashes her 15-carat, Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.
In the background, you see an image of the late actress posing the same way. “#MyIdol,” Kim captioned the photo, adding a diamond ring icon.
Kim has always been open about her infatuation with Taylor. Before the actress’ March 2011 death, Kardashian sat down with beauty in one of her final interviews to talk about glamour, giving back, and how to live like a legend.
“You are my idol. But I’m six husbands and some big jewels behind. What should I do,” the 33-year-old told Taylor in an exclusive interview for the February 2011 issue of Harpers Bazaar.
“I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands. For me, life happened, just as it does for anyone else. I have been supremely lucky in my life in that I have known great love, and of course I am the temporary custodian of some incredible and beautiful things. But I have never felt more alive than when I watched my children delight in something, never more alive than when I have watched a great artist perform, and never richer than when I have scored a big check to fight AIDS. Follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come,” Taylor said.
