Beyonce shared a special moment with Madonna’s daughter on Thursday night during her show in New York.
During the “Drunk in Love” singer’s performance at the Barclays Center, Bey leaned over and gave Mercy James an endearing kiss on the forehead. Madonna posted the once in a life time moment on Instagram, writing, “Mercy James gets a big fat one from the Queen. B!”
After the show, Beyonce celebrated her album’s release at Dave & Buster’s New York. The singer even took to Instagram to share with fans photos of the night’s festivities. According to the pics, Bey enjoyed a game of Connect 4, enjoyed some cake provided by Cake Boss and won quite a few tickets. (Wonder what she redeemed them for.)
Drake, Luke James, J. Cole, stylist Ty Hunter, designer Alexander Wang all joined Bey in celebrating selling over a million albums.
According to reports, Drake jumped on the microphone to congratulate his friend in the business. “I just came out tonight to let you know congratulations to each and every one of you that worked on this shit, for real,” the Toronto rapper said. “And of course to the queen, the utmost congratulations.”
Beyonce’s surprise, visual album is still dominating conversation around the world and still trending on social media. The singer’s self-titled album broke iTunes records, selling more than 617,000 units on the U.S iTunes Store in just three days.
