From one FOX show to the next, Mariah Carey is making her rounds.
On November 24, Carey’s voice will make a debut on the animated FOX sitcom, American Dad. According to TV Guide, the singer will lend her sexy voice to Laura, a “Southern football fan who meets Stan at a Cowboys game and invites him to join her tailgating festivities.”
Executive producer Matt Weitzman said in a statement that it was great having Carey on set. “She’d never done voiceover work before, but she was clearly so comfortable in front of the mike. She’s naturally funny,” he said.
The 43-year-old was a judge on last season’s American Idol but the star announced back in May that she would not be returning to the show.
