Kevin Hart is putting his money where his mouth is by donating $250,000 to the Philadelphia school system.
The Philly native and comedian stated in an Instagram post that he understands the trouble that the city’s schools are facing and has decided that he would put his money towards buying new computers for them.
“I am blessed to be in a position that allows me to give back to the city that made me who I am,” Hart said.
Hart spent Friday visiting four schools with Philidelphia Mayor, Michael Nutter, distributing 300 laptops to the district’s schools and plans to donate an extra 200 computers to the city’s community centers.
