Sean Kingston is taking to Twitter to deny allegations that he participated in gang raping a girl back in 2010.
Carissa Capeloto filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that Kingston and a former bodyguard sexually assaulted her following a concert.
“Don’t believe the hype … I am a child of GOD and have a great relationship with him … I live a positive life so I know I’m good,” he tweeted shortly after the story broke. “In this world, no matter who you are, what you do … there are people trying to bring you down constantly.” “You can hurt me with the truth but please don’t comfort me with your lies,” he continued.
Oddly enough, despite the denial, Kingston has already reached a settlement with the victim. A source close to the singer says the settlement isn’t an admission of guilt, just a way for Kingston to move on with his life.
