As if Queen Latifah doesn’t have enough going on, the Queen has inked yet another deal.
Dana Elaine Owens, the star’s legal name, is now the spokesmodel for Pantene. As the brand ambassador, the TV beauty will rep the shampoo’s Truly Relaxed and Truly Natural Collection.
“I’ve wanted to work with them (Pantene) for a long time. When they first approached me, I thought, ‘Finally,” she told People during a recent interview. “I’m really looking forward to wearing it natural more often. It’s just fun,” she explained.
The 43-year-old New Jersey native added,”Having black hair is unique … In that black women change up styles a lot … We really run the gamut. That means we have to have the products that really work for all of our various looks, and Pantene is so versatile.”
Queen is currently the spokesperson for CoverGirl, and is launching a new CBS daytime TV show called, The Queen Latifah Show. “I’m excited about it … I feel like life, I’ve gotten to do a lot of things in this journey that life has brought me back right here where I need to be,” the actress told CBS.
