Compton rapper The Game is denying an exclusive story broken here on HipHollywood.com that he punched NBA star Brandon Jennings in the face. Our website was first to report that the men got into an argument over the weekend regarding use of a microphone inside a nightclub.
Game was asked about our report in a recent radio interview and offered up this denial. “I get a bad wrap, but between you and me, I ain’t had a real good solid fight since I beat up 40 Glocc. I didn’t punch that dude in the face,” The game explained.
Still, the rapper admits that Jennings was assaulted, he just wasn’t responsible. “I was right there. Some words were exchanged and they [hit him]. I seen it, but it wasn’t me.”
HipHollywood stands by our original story, but we appreciate Game’s effort to shy away from bragging over putting hands on the NBA star.
Jennings also took to Twitter Wednesday night to admit that the altercation happened, but wouldn’t confirm if Game was the one who attacked him, tweeting:
“Sucker punch when I wasn’t looking. PS, my face is great. Looks the same. See!!!”
Wow. Definitely not the most masculine tweet we’ve ever seen.
