Denzel Washington may have reportedly turned down a role in Fast & Furious 7, but Vin Diesel is A-ok with that.
HipHollywood sat down with the actor for his film Riddick, and couldn’t help but ask him about Washington supposedly snubbing the film.
Said Diesel, “I don’t know that Denzel would be right for Fast, quite frankly, he knows what he has to do.”
Shots fired? Maybe, maybe not. But Diesel did explain that there will be a new character introduced in the seventh installment, a pseudo father figure for his character Dom.
“There is a fatherlike figure that they want to introduce for this trilogy 7, 8, 9,” added Diesel. “I love that the studio is even thinking that far, it makes for better scripts.”
Well we hope so. Shooting for Fast & Furious 7 has already begun in Atlanta. In the meantime, you can catch Diesel in Riddick in theaters now.
