Prince may seem like the sort of musician that doesn’t have a sense of humor, but the cover art for his new single “Breakfast can Wait” may put an end to that opinion.
Back in 2003, Dave Chappelle made TV history when he dressed up as the iconic purple singer on his Comedy Central show, playing a game of basketball in a ruffled suit and making breakfast for his opponents after winning the game.
Prince must be a fan of the skit, because on Sunday night he used an image from the classic sketch for the cover art of his new single. “Game: Blouses” the rock legend tweeted with the picture and a link to a video snippet of the single.
